Graduation Requirements

Applying for Degree

Degrees and certificates will be awarded at the June Commencement each year.  Students who plan to complete requirements for obtaining degrees or certificates are required to file an application by the specified deadlines each term.  Unless these conditions are met, certificates or degrees will not be issued.  The necessary fees must accompany the document at the time of application.

Commencement

Commencement will be held in June of each year.  All requirements for graduation must be met before the student may participate in the Commencement Exercises.  No certificate or degree will be awarded until the end of the term when all graduation requirements have been met and a degree application has been properly submitted.

Honors Policy

Graduation Honors

 Students receiving exceptional grades will be awarded scholastic honor.

Summa cum laude (highest honor) for grade point ratio above 3.80
Magna cum laude (high honor) for grade point ratio from 3.60 to 3.79
Cum laude (with honor) for grade point ratio from 3.30 to 3.59
