Degree Requirements

The purpose of the Associate of Religious Studies program is to provide an opportunity for students to develop biblical study skills, acquire a basic knowledge of the principles of the Holy Scriptures, and to prepare them for undergraduate studies in four-year institutions.

Students will:

  1. develop a working knowledge of how to study the Holy Scriptures;
  2. apply biblical truths to their own personal lives;
  3. share the Word of God with others;
  4. continue these studies or a related field at the undergraduate level.

Summary of Requirements:

  1. Minimum 24 hours of Bible/Theology
  2. Minimum 63 total semester credit hours
  3. Demonstration of Christian character
  4. Minimum cumulative 2.0 grade point average
  5. Application for Associate Degree Payment of all fees.
